If you’re selected as a taster, you’ll submit an online form for each spot you review. Your scores will be used to determine Irvine’s best of the best.

You’re on the hook for any treats you try. Price is one of the categories we judge so paying for them is part of the deal. Will you be reimbursed? Also no. Ice cream is its own reward.

No. Scores will be accepted for any and all places you try.

Please don’t! We are also judging these places on customer service. Please keep your identity a secret. Shhhhh.

Not at all! You just need to order and review one treat from each nominated spot, ideally their signature item. Of course, if you’re looking for an excuse to sample the whole menu… we won’t stop you.
