Irvine-based home-fragrance company Voluspa is bringing its candles, diffusers, perfumes, and gifts to the same city it has called home for more than fifteen years.

The store, which opened in July near the Giant Wheel and Nordstrom at Irvine Spectrum Center, is Voluspa’s third Orange County boutique. Its other locations are at Fashion Island and Brea Mall. For Voluspa, the Irvine opening carries more significance than a typical retail expansion.

“Voluspa has proudly called Irvine home for more than 15 years, so opening a boutique in the city where our team designs and manufactures our products is especially meaningful,” said Troy Arntsen, Voluspa’s Founder and President, in a written response to The Vine. “It’s an opportunity to connect with our local community and welcome both longtime supporters and first-time customers into our brand’s hometown.”

The new Voluspa boutique will be a one-stop shop for Irvinites who want to buy gifts created by a local company in Irvine.

Arntsen said Irvine Spectrum Center’s mix of residents and visitors, and its focus on experience-driven shopping, made the center a natural choice for the boutique.

“As one of Southern California’s premier lifestyle destinations, it brings together a vibrant mix of locals and visitors who value elevated retail experiences,” said Arntsen. “The location gives us another opportunity to connect with customers and invite them into the world of Voluspa through fragrance discovery, personalized recommendations and an immersive in-store experience.”
