The Irvine Animal Care Center (IACC) hosted its fifth annual Comedy Unleashed fundraiser at the Irvine Improve on September 21st. 188 attendees enjoyed dinner and a show with three comedians: Matt Braunger, Chris Porter, and Laura Peek.

The event netted over $2,800 to assist with the funding of the IACC’s programs, including Third Chance for Pets (where animals are brought to Irvine to adopt into a forever home), Enhanced Care (where Irvine Animal Care professionals treat animals to assist them in becoming healthy and adoptable), and the IACC’S Foster Care programs.

While the fundraiser has ended, there are plenty of opportunities to support the IACC! Interested in taking a hands on approach? The IACC is currently recruiting for its Foster Care program and is seeking help for Bottle Baby fosters (fosters for weaning kittens) and fosters for large breed mama dogs with their pups.

Get more information on how to participate in one of the IACC’s foster care programs online.
